Our Mission

ACR was founded in 1991 to address concerns related to the care and needs of residents in long-term care homes in British Columbia. Since our inception, we have worked on behalf of those living in residential care facilities. We continue with this work today, always true to our founding mission statement:

“We are a group of concerned citizens dedicated to improving the quality of care and quality of life for residents of long-term homes in British Columbia.”
